Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee

The municipalities of Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Pelham, Thorold and West Lincoln formed a joint Accessibility Advisory Committee under the provisions of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.

The main purposes and activities of the Accessibility Advisory Committee are:

• To advise Councils on the preparation, implementation and effectiveness of an annual
  accessibility plan
• To review site plans of and advise on accessibility issues relating to identified buildings
  within the Municipalities
• To advise Councils on other accessibility related issues within the Municipalities including policies and procedures associated with accessibility issues, customer service etc.

Meeting Schedule

Meetings are held on the Second Thursday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at alternating locations. Meeting dates subject to change. Please contact the Municipality regarding location of Meeting.
