The Township is pleased to announce that Canadian country music artist Mitch Zorn is set to headline West Lincoln’s annual Canada Day event.
The event will take over the Leisureplex Township Park, at 2543 South Grimsby Road 6, in Smithville, on Wednesday, July 1, with fun activities for the whole family from 3 to 10:15 p.m.
Kelowna, BC based country artist Mitch Zorn brings over a decade of performance experience across North America. After spending four years living and working in Texas and Tennessee, Mitch returned to Canada with a bold, authentic sound rooted in modern country storytelling. His fan favourite track “Home” earned national airplay and featured artist status on major country radio, helping establish him as a rising force in the format.
In June 2025, Mitch released his debut EP through 604 Records, with standout track “Stray Bullet” blending pop-punk energy and country grit. The EP has surpassed 5.6 million streams, with “Stray Bullet” alone exceeding 1.6 million. A dynamic live performer, Mitch has spent the past year on the road supporting major Canadian acts including Jess Moskaluke, James Barker Band, and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. With a 2026 Boots & Hearts performance confirmed and more live appearances ahead, Mitch Zorn continues to build momentum within Canada’s country music scene.
