West Lincoln Votes on October 24

The Township of West Lincoln’s advanced voting period has concluded. This means Election Day is the final chance for residents to use their voice and vote in the 2022 Municipal and School Board Election.

Time: Polls will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Live updates will be posted to the Township’s Twitter and Facebook pages as results come in, starting after 8 p.m. Follow the Township of West Lincoln @TWPWestLincoln to follow along.

The Township is also opening the Council Chambers to the public on the evening of October 24, 2022, for the purpose of following election results.

Hours: Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. (results will start coming in after 8 p.m.). Once unofficial results from all polling locations and voting methods are released, attendees will be given a 15-minute window before the Council Chambers are closed.

Capacity: No more than 70 people total will be allowed in the Chambers. To protect the health and safety of staff and all attendees, this will be a firm cut off. A representative from the West Lincoln Fire & Emergency Services will be on site to monitor capacity. Please note that candidates and their family and friends will be given first priority.

Further Details: Very limited seating will be available for those who may have difficulty standing for long periods. Refreshments will not be provided. People are welcome to bring their own water, pop, coffee, tea, etc., but food will not be permitted in the Chambers. Public restrooms will be open and available.
