West Lincoln Sparkles

West Lincoln Sparkles is a free, outdoor holiday display competition run by the Township of West Lincoln. Get sparkly and help make our community extra magical this holiday season!

How to enter

  1. Create an outdoor festive display at your home. See Official Entry Rules below.
  2. Complete the online registration form (open from November 12 at 9 a.m. until December 10 at 4 p.m.).
  3. After submitting the online registration form, pick up your official entry lawn sign (free of charge) at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West Street, or at Township Administration, 318 Canborough Road, during business hours. (If you completed this registration form after 4:30 p.m., please wait until the next business day before picking up your sign.)
  4. Show your ID with proof of address to Township Staff when picking up your official entry lawn sign.
  5. Display your lawn sign proudly.

Official Entry Rules

  • Open to residential properties in the Township of West Lincoln, Ontario.
  • Contest is limited to exterior decorations, which must be visible from the curbside.
  • Decorations must not cover and/or interfere with any fire safety equipment, roadways or sidewalks/walkways.
  • Keep everything PG-13.
  • Photos & Media: participants must agree to have photos of their displays and their addresses posted online, including, at the sole discretion of the Township of West Lincoln: website, voting forms, social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram) and local news media.
  • Official West Lincoln Sparkles Entry lawn signs must be placed in your yard and be easily visible from the curbside.
  • Participation in this contest does not exempt individuals from any Municipal By-laws.
  • Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, determined by public voting.
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will receive a lawn sign to celebrate their winning display, plus a token of appreciation.

Viewing and voting for entries

  • The public will be encouraged to visit the displays across the Township.
  • Winners will be decided by online voting from December 12 to 17.
  • The public is asked to please view displays from the curbside or sidewalk only.
  • Do not block traffic. Be courteous to others.
