The Township of West Lincoln has received an application for a proposed combined Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendment pursuant to Sections 34 and 22 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 13, as amended.

Purpose and effect
This application was deemed complete on September 28, 2026.
The purpose and effect of the Official Plan Amendment proposes to redesignate the subject property from Institutional to the Medium Density Residential designation.
The purpose and effect of the Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to rezone the subject lands from Institutional to a site-specific Residential Medium Density (RM3) zone to permit the development of 4 residential townhouse blocks (22 townhouse dwelling units in total). The proposed site-specific provisions are for the reduction in minimum lot area, minimum exterior side yard and maximum lot coverage.
Public participation
The Township of West Lincoln is seeking your comments on the application. The Public Meeting is an opportunity for public input prior to Council making a decision.
A public meeting will be scheduled for a future date. A further Notice of Public Meeting will be provided as per the requirements of the Planning Act.

Appeal information
Only the Minister, the applicant, specified persons (as defined under Section 1(1) of the Planning Act), public bodies, and the registered owner of the land to which the by-law would apply, as defined in the Planning Act, may appeal the decision of Council to the OLT.
No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the Ontario Land Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
