Commissioner of Oaths

A Commissioner of Oaths is available to administer oaths and affidavits in our Legislative Services division. Please note the Township does not certify true copies of any document. You must bring valid photo identification and sign all documents in front of the commissioner as a witness.

Fees

For Resident of West Lincoln you will be charged $13 per document.

For Non-Resident you will be charged $16 per document.

Service availability

Our office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but, there is not always someone available to provide this service. Before visiting the Township office at 318 Canborough St. in Smithville, you should check with our Legislative Services division by calling 905-957-3346.

Notary public services

The Township of West Lincoln Commissioner of Oaths is not a Notary Public.
