The Township of West Lincoln has a number of parks and trails for you to explore! Some parks provide a serene and tranquil setting where you can enjoy recreational activities while others provide a variety of recreational facilities.
With entering tick season, please be cautious in potential places where ticks can reside including woodland and high grass areas.

West Lincoln is home to some of the most scenic trails in the region. There are two local trails for you to explore. To find cycling routes throughout the region, please visit our Cycling page.
Canborough Street - Ellis Street Trail: located at 231 Canborough Street to 15 Ellis Street.
Leisureplex Trail: located across from 23 Oakdale Blvd and continues to Leisureplex Township Park.
South Creek Trail: located at the end of Wade Road, on the south side of the walking bridge.
Swayze Court - Westlea Drive Trail: located at the cul-de-sac at end of Swayze Court and runs behind the West Lincoln Playground to Westlea Drive.
Wellandport Park Loop Trail: is located at 5042 Canborough Rd., South of the library to boat launch and return.
West Lincoln Community Center Trail: located at 177 West Street.
West Street - Autumn Circle Trail: located at 137 West Street to 25 Autumn Circle.

Township playground equipment and park trees are checked and inspected regularly by staff.

Motorized vehicles or alcohol are not allowed in parks unless you have written permission from the Township. In general, you must follow these park rules:
You are not allowed to bring, consume or process alcohol in a Township Park. Call the Grimsby Detachment of the Niagara Region Police Services to report alcohol consumption in any park. Contact: 905-945-2211
A Special Occasion Permit can be obtained for events where alcohol will be served. You need permission from the Township of West Lincoln before your event. Council must give approval. Contact the Township at least two months in advance.
Please keep your dogs leashed and clean up after them. Children who play in the parks will thank you.
Garbage and recycling containers are located throughout the parks for your use. Please don't litter and dispose of any wrappers or leftovers properly.
Unlawful behaviour and vandalism will not be tolerated in our parks. All vandalism will be dealt with appropriately.
