West Lincoln collecting used eclipse glasses for Astronomers Without Borders
PUBLIC NOTICE
West Lincoln collecting used eclipse glasses for Astronomers Without Borders
West Lincoln residents can give their eclipse glasses a second life and help other people around the world safely experience future solar eclipses. The Township is collecting used eclipse glasses at the Township Administration building and the West Lincoln Community Centre. The West Lincoln Public Library is accepting used eclipse glasses at all three library branches.
Glasses will be donated to Astronomers Without Borders, an organization that sends solar glasses to people in Africa, Asia, North and South America who may not otherwise have a safe way to view a solar eclipse directly.
