Family fun, magic, music and fireworks: West Lincoln set to celebrate Canada Day
Celebrate Canada Day in West Lincoln with an afternoon and evening packed with family-friendly activities, live entertainment and community spirit.
Taking place on Wednesday, July 1, from 3 to 10:15 p.m. at the Leisureplex Township Park, in Smithville, the annual event offers something for all ages.
From 3 to 7 p.m., attendees can explore market and food vendors, enjoy inflatables, games, face painting, a petting zoo and trackless train rides, along with many other family-friendly activities throughout the park.
Main stage entertainment will kick off with a children’s magic show by Bumbling Bert at 5:30 p.m.
Musical performances will then open with West Lincoln local Stephanie DeShane aka Ranger at 6:30 p.m., followed by Canadian folk/acoustic rock band Claralux at 7:30 p.m. Headlining act and rising Canadian country artist Mitch Zorn will perform at 8:45 p.m.
The event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks finale by Garden City Display Fireworks at 10 p.m.
