    It’s never too early to get excited for the holiday season! The Township of West Lincoln is thrilled to announce that entry applications are now open for the 35th annual West Lincoln Santa Claus Parade, happening Saturday, November 29, 2025.

    For more than three decades, this magical parade has been a highlight of the season, bringing neighbours and families together in celebration.

  • West Lincoln seniors’ fair to feature panel discussion on end-of-life preparations

    West Lincoln is pleased to be welcoming a panel of experts to the upcoming Seniors’ Active Living and Information Fair on September 26, to discuss legacy and estate planning, future care and arrangements and how to avoid probate.

    Drew Gauthier is a Class One Licensed Funeral Director and Ontario Funeral Services Association Board Member.

  • Harvest Routes workshop registration opens September 9

    Details are now available for creative workshops featured at the Township’s annual celebration of arts and culture, Harvest Routes, on October 3 and 4, 2025.

    • Creekside Country Market kids (6+) and adult workshops – create a scarecrow cutting board or fall harvest sign
    • DIY Home Décor workshops – create a sign, pillow or welcome mat
    • Urban Tractor workshops – create a stained-glass dragonfly or butterfly
    • Watering Can workshops – create a flower arrangement
    • West Lincoln Public Library workshops

  • Residents invited to West Lincoln Fire open houses

    West Lincoln Fire & Emergency Services is hosting public open houses at both of its Fire Stations on Saturday, September 27. Visit Fire Station 2 for a free breakfast then stop by Fire Station 1 for a free barbecue lunch.

  • Labour Day Holiday Hours 2025

    Please note that Township Administration, the West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, for the Labour Day holiday.

    Residents are reminded that fireworks are only permitted in West Lincoln on Victoria Day, Canada Day and the 2 days before and after these holidays.

  • Vendors wanted for Harvest Routes artist marketplace

    Get your creative juices flowing, because the Township of West Lincoln’s celebration of arts and culture returns October 3 to 4, 2025. Harvest Routes includes seasonal workshops spread out around the Township so attendees can explore all corners of West Lincoln, plus an Artists’ Marketplace.

  • West Lincoln welcomes new Manager of Community Services

    The Township of West Lincoln is thrilled to announce that, after a comprehensive recruitment process, DJ Brooks has accepted the position of Manager, Community Services. In this role, he will oversee facility and parks management as well as recreational programing and community events.

  • West Lincoln lifts burn ban

    Fire Chief Tim Hofsink has lifted the burn ban in West Lincoln, following several local rain events that brought enough precipitation to reduce the risk of fire. The recent rainfall has lowered the chance of fires spreading quickly, making conditions safer for controlled burns.
