  • Details for winter intake of ‘The Best Years 55+’ now available

    The winter intake for the Township’s free “The Best Years 55+” programming is beginning soon, right in time to help older adults in West Lincoln achieve new year’s resolutions to stay active, socialize and get creative. All programs are being held at or depart from the West Lincoln Community Centre, at 177 West Street, in Smithville.

  • Winners chosen for West Lincoln MYAC holiday card contest

    Winners of West Lincoln’s holiday card contest have been selected! Congratulations to 1st place winner, Brielle, whose drawing will be featured on the front cover of the Township’s 2024 corporate holiday card. Congratulations to 2nd place winner, Connor, and 3rd place winner, Ben, whose drawings will be included on the inside and back of the card.

  • Volunteers wanted for West Lincoln Santa Claus Parade

    The Township of West Lincoln is seeking volunteers to help the 34th annual West Lincoln Santa Claus Parade run smoothly and safely on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

    • Traffic Control Volunteers will provide traffic protection and control measures at the low risk areas of the road closure plan.
  • West Lincoln hosting semi-formal dance for older adults 55+

    The Township of West Lincoln is hosting a semi-formal dance for older adults on Saturday, November 23, from 7 to 11 p.m.

  • West Lincoln community tree lighting set for Nov. 27

    West Lincoln Shines, the annual Community Tree Lighting, is set to return to West Lincoln on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 6:15 to 7 p.m.

  • Electric vehicle charging stations installed in West Lincoln

    The Township of West Lincoln is pleased to announce that two Level 2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations have been installed and are now ready for public use at the West Lincoln Community Centre.

    The stations were installed by Alectra Energy Solutions, which will also own, maintain and operate the chargers for a minimum 10-year period.

  • Greg Maychak elected Ward 3 Councillor in West Lincoln

    The results from West Lincoln’s 2024 Municipal By-election have been certified by the Township Clerk. Greg Maychak has been elected to serve as a Ward 3 Councillor for the remainder of the 2022-2026 term of Council.

  • Ward 3 Votes on November 4

    The Township of West Lincoln’s advanced voting period has concluded. This means By-election day is the final chance for eligible Ward 3 voters to cast their ballot in the 2024 Ward 3 Municipal By-election.
