  • West Lincoln Council adopts 2026 Budget

    Mayor Cheryl Ganann waived the mayoral veto period at the January 12 All Committees meeting and West Lincoln’s 2026 Budget is now adopted. This concludes the Township’s first budget process under the Province’s Strong Mayor legislation.

  • Weather update: Community Centre open, some programs impacted - January 15, 2026

    The West Lincoln Community Centre opened late this morning due to weather, but it is open and will be open all day and evening.

  • Winners selected in 2025 West Lincoln Sparkles competition

    The votes are in and the public has spoken. The winners of West Lincoln Sparkles, the Township’s free outdoor holiday display competition, are:

    First Place: 4525 Sixteen Road
    Second Place: 61 Autumn Circle
    Third Place: 3 Davis Street

    Winners will receive a lawn sign to celebrate their winning displays, plus a special gift basket filled with holiday treats.

  • Winter schedule of drop-in programs starts Jan 5

    Shake off the winter chill and head indoors for some active fun! The West Lincoln Community Centre is your go-to destination this season for unstructured, drop-in activities that keep individuals and families moving.

    The Township’s winter drop-in program schedule begins on Monday, January 5, 2026, and includes the following:

    • Adult basketball and volleyball
    • Family open gym
    • Pickleball, including advanced and beginner
    • Older adult social (free)
    • Ukulele jam session (free)
    • Youth basketball
    • Youth open gym.
  • West Lincoln approves new building fees, effective Jan 1

    Township of West Lincoln Council approved new building permit fees at its December 15 meeting. The updated fee structure will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
