    The Township of West Lincoln is developing a Recreation and Parks Plan. The plan will provide a roadmap to enhance and grow the Township’s parks and recreation facilities, services and events.

  • Fall drop-in, skating programs start in September

    Lace up your sneakers and skates and drop-in at the West Lincoln Community Centre this fall, where the Township is offering a variety of unstructured activities in the gymnasium and arena.

    The fall schedule of drop-in programs starts September 3 and includes the following:

    • Youth Open Gym

    • Family Open Gym

    • Pickleball (Adult)

    • Beginner Pickleball (Adult)

    • Advanced Pickleball (Adult)

    • Volleyball (Adult)

    • Dodgeball (Adult)

    • Older Adult Social (55+)

    • Ukulele Jam Session (55+)

  • Labour Day Weekend 2024 Holiday Hours

    The Township of West Lincoln wishes the community a safe and happy Labour Day weekend.

    Please note that the Township Administration Building, Public Works Building, West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 2, for the statutory Labour Day holiday.

  • New free programs help West Lincoln older adults relish in ‘The Best Years’

    The Township of West Lincoln is encouraging residents aged 55 and over to relish in what are often known as “the best years” of life through a new series of free programming. This new programming is made possible thanks to $20,970 in funding awarded through the Seniors Community Grant.

  • West Lincoln Celebrates New Fire Station, Invites Public to Open House

    At a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 22, Mayor Cheryl Ganann and members of Council joined Fire Chief Dennis Fisher to mark the official opening of West Lincoln’s new Fire Station 2.

    Building a new Fire Station 2 to replace the previous building, which was built in 1959 for Public Works and repurposed as a Fire Station in 1995, was included as a short-term initiative in the Township’s Strategic Plan in 2019.

  • Nomination period now open for West Lincoln Ward 3 By-election

    At its August 12 Council (including all Committees) meeting, Township Council passed the by-law to conduct a by-election. Nominations for West Lincoln’s Ward 3 by-election are now open and will be accepted until 2 p.
