    Dear Honourable Premier Ford,

    On behalf of Council and the residents of the Township of West Lincoln, I am writing in response to the recent correspondence from Regional Chair Bob Gale proposing potential municipal restructuring within Niagara Region, including models that would result in forced amalgamation. This letter to you should be read alongside the joint letter from the partnership of eight Niagara municipalities, of which West.

    As temperatures begin to rise and snow starts to melt, the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) is reminding residents that spring thaw can increase the risk of localized flooding—particularly in low-lying areas and along rivers, streams, and shorelines.

    Following significant snowfall across the watershed, NPCA is taking proactive steps to monitor conditions and advise on flood risk as weather patterns fluctuate in the coming weeks.

    The Township of West Lincoln is accepting expressions of interest for naming rights of the gymnasium in the West Lincoln Community Centre.

    The request for proposal is soliciting 3- to 5-year offers from individuals, businesses, corporations or not-for-profit organizations with emphasis being placed on partnership compatibility and direct connection to the West Lincoln community.
