    Be advised that the Township of West Lincoln Administration building, at 318 Canborough Street, in Smithville, will be temporarily closed to the public on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 11:30 a.m.

  • National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2024

    The Township Administration Building, Public Works Building, West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 30, for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

    National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was established by the federal government in 2021 in response to the Sep 25, 2024

    Calling all young artists in West Lincoln! The Township’s Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) is holding its first annual holiday card contest. Winning artwork will be used for the Township’s 2024 corporate holiday card.

    West Lincoln Fire & Emergency Services is hosting public open houses at both fire stations this fall. Residents are invited to bring the whole family out to meet West Lincoln’s brave volunteer firefighters, enjoy a free bite to eat and have some fun.

    Lace up your sneakers and skates and drop-in at the West Lincoln Community Centre this fall, where the Township is offering a variety of unstructured activities in the gymnasium and arena.

    The fall schedule of drop-in programs starts September 3 and includes the following:

    • Pickleball (Adult)

    • Beginner Pickleball (Adult)

    • Advanced Pickleball (Adult)

    • Volleyball (Adult)

    • Dodgeball (Adult)

    • Older Adult Social (55+)

    • Ukulele Jam Session (55+)

  • Labour Day Weekend 2024 Holiday Hours

    The Township of West Lincoln wishes the community a safe and happy Labour Day weekend.

    Please note that the Township Administration Building, Public Works Building, West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 2, for the statutory Labour Day holiday.
