West Lincoln Launches Community Engagement Survey

For Immediate Release: September 28, 2023

The Township of West Lincoln is seeking feedback from community members about how they prefer to engage with the Township and where they typically seek information about Township-related news, projects, events, contests, meetings or updates.

The public is invited to provide feedback through an online Community Engagement Survey, open now until 4 p.m. on November 30, 2023.

Paper surveys are also available for pick-up at the Township Administration Building (318 Canborough St., Smithville), the West Lincoln Community Centre (177 West St., Smithville), and all three branches of the West Lincoln Public Library (9549 York St., Caistorville, 177 West St., Smithville, 5042 Canborough Rd., Wellandport).

Survey results will help inform future decision making as the Township continues increasing and improving community engagement endeavours. Get involved and provide feedback by visiting the Township's Community Engagement Survey page and completing the short survey.

“As West Lincoln heads into a season of tremendous growth, it is important that we also broaden our reach within the community. With this survey, we hope to gauge the best ways to increase engagement, so people living in every corner of our community can engage in all of the great happenings. A well-informed and engaged community is a thriving and prosperous community.”

“The Township has made great strides in increasing public engagement in recent years, however, we know there are still many people in our community whom we are not reaching with vital information and updates.
