The Township of West Lincoln offers many drop-in programs for adults, seniors, children and youth. All drop-in programs are held at the West Lincoln Community Centre located at 177 West Street in Smithville. 

To meet the Grey-Lockdown level requirements of the Province’s COVID-19 Response Framework, beginning December 26, 2020 at 12:01 am the West Lincoln Community Centre will be closed until further notice.

Drop-in programs

Drop-in programs are unstructured physical activities that are open to all levels and abilities. A new schedule will be available at the West Lincoln Community Centre each session (Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer). The schedule will be determined by staff at the conclusion of each session. Check out what drop-in programs we have to offer below!

Do I need to register?

Due to COVID-19 restrictions you will need to register for all fitness & drop in programs. Please view the attached flyer for more information.

All participants must complete a Drop-in Registration and Waiver to participate. Waivers are available at the Community Centre, or click here for a Drop-in Registration and Waiver Form. If you have any questions about a program, please call Recreation Services 905-957-3346 ext. 4688 or email us . 

Facility etiquette

Please follow our facility etiquette to help keep the gymnasium safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Indoor shoes only in gymnasium. Locker Rooms are available for use.
  • No food or drink allowed in the gymnasium. Water is permitted.
  • No horseplay, swearing, boisterous activity or noise pollution.
  • Facility users must put gym equipment away after use.
  • Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent/or guardian.  
  • Facility users must treat each other and staff with respect.
  • Discrimination and/or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the Community Centre.

Staff may ask participants to leave if Facility Etiquette Guidelines are not being met. 

Drop-in fees

Participants have the option of paying a single use drop-in fee or purchasing a discount card. Adult fees do not apply for family drop-in.
