The Township of West Lincoln offers many drop-in programs for adults, seniors, children and youth. All drop-in programs are held at the West Lincoln Community Centre located at 177 West Street in Smithville. 

As of September 22nd, 2021, Ontarians will need to be fully vaccinated (two doses plus 14 days) and provide proof of vaccination along with photo ID to access certain public settings and facilities. Some exemptions to the Provincial proof of vaccination mandate apply and can be found here Ontario Regulation 364/20

Do I need to register?

All participants must complete a Drop-in Registration and Covid-19 Waiver to participate. Waivers are available at the Community Centre or click here for a Drop-in Registration Form and click here for a Covid-19 Waiver Form. If you have any questions about a program, please call Recreation Services 905-957-3346 ext. 4688 or email us .

Drop in programs may be adjusted in response to Covid-19 Provincial and Regional Regulations as required. Please watch for notifications and updates at the West Lincoln Community Centre, the Township of West Lincoln website and social media pages.  

 Covid-19 reminders

  • Proof of vaccination (two doses plus 14 days) with photo identification is required for anyone over 12 years of age to participate in drop-in programs
  • Participants will be required to complete a Covid-19 waiver available at the Community Centre before participating or find the waiver here to complete before arrival
  • Participants will be required to complete Covid-19 screening upon entry or complete the screening online here

Facility etiquette

Please follow our facility etiquette to help keep the gymnasium safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Indoor shoes only in gymnasium
  • Locker rooms are available for use
  • No food or drink allowed in the gymnasium except water
  • No horseplay, swearing, boisterous activity or noise pollution
  • Facility users must put gym equipment away after use
  • Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent/or guardian
  • Facility users must treat each other and staff with respect
  • Discrimination and/or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the Community Centre

Staff may ask participants to leave if facility etiquette guidelines are not being met.
