Growing your business in Smithville and need natural gas? Enbridge wants to know
Enbridge Gas is considering alternatives that could provide additional natural gas capacity to the Grimsby-Lincoln-West Lincoln area. They are conducting a Non-Binding Expression of Interest (EOI) along with a Non-Binding Reverse Open Season (ROS) to confirm market demand for new natural gas distribution services starting December 1, 2029.
Information gathered during this process will be used to confirm and evaluate the alternatives with the potential to meet the demands and timing of existing and new customers in the Grimsby-Lincoln-West Lincoln area.

Non-Binding Expression of Interest: Contract rate customers (large-volume commercial and industrial) are asked for input to identify timing and size of customer growth. This data will inform project requirements and market needs.

- Non-distribution contract rate customers interested in capacity can submit their request through the Get Connected website.
Non-Binding Reverse Open Season: Contract rate customers (large-volume commercial and industrial) in the area are offered the opportunity to turnback existing capacity under contract at an existing site. This data will help to evaluate integrated resource planning solutions to serve incremental demand while optimizing any existing capacity.
