Summer day camp 2023

The Township of West Lincoln is a great choice for exciting and affordable camps for children ages 4 to 12. Camp creates a community that values everyone equally, keeps children's bodies and minds active and encourages new knowledge and skills through co-operative games, crafts, outdoor activities, music, movies, sports and so much more! Date: Weekly camps beginning July 3 to August 25

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Early bird rate: May 2@ 9:00 a.m. to June 2 @4:30 p.m. $139.00/week

Regular rate: after June 2 $153.00/week 

Early bird short week: $111.20/week

Regular short week: $122.40/week

Extended care: $7/AM or PM ($14 for both)

7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Ages:yrs to 12 yrs

How do I register for Summer camp?

Registration for West Lincoln’s Summer Day Camp is now full. We’re hopeful that we’ll be able to open up more spaces in the near future so more of your little ones can enjoy our great camp experience.

In the meantime, please join the waitlist to be contacted when spaces are added. 

Waitlist 

Click the link below to be added to the summer camp waitlist for the desired weeks. Follow these steps. 

  1. Sign in using your Active Network login (email address) and password. 
  2. Click "Activities" tab.
  3. Search and select the week you would like to enroll in.
  4. Click the grey "+ waiting list" button.
  5. Select the participant. 
  6. To register another child, click "Register Another Participant".
  7. Click "Add to Cart". 
  8. To add another week of camp, click "Activities" tab and repeat steps #3 to #7. 
  9. You will have to add each week individually to your cart.      
  10. Click "Finish". 
  11. Please print a copy of your confirmation receipt for your records.

Waitlist summer camp registration link 

Register online

Click the link below to register online for Summer camp. Follow these steps to complete registration and payment. 

  1. Create an Active Network account. If you are registering a child for an activity, please use your own information when creating an account, not the information of the child you wish to register for an activity. Once you have an account, you will have the opportunity to add family members.
  2. Sign in using your login (email address) and password. 
  3. Click "Manage Family Member" then add family members.  
  4. Click "Activities" tab.
  5. Search and select "Summer Day Camp".
  6. Click the green "Enroll Now" button.
  7. Select the participant. 
  8. Select each week you would like to register, then click "Next". 
  9. Complete required registration information.   
  10. To register another child, click "Register Another Participant" and complete required registration information.  
  11. Click "Add to Cart". Activities will remain in your cart for 15 minutes. 
  12. To register for extended care, click "Activities", then search "AM Extended Care (date)" or "PM Extended Care (date)".
  13. You will have to add each date individually to your cart.      
  14. Please read the waivers and agreements carefully. By agreeing electronically, you acknowledge that you have both read and understood all text presented to you as part of the checkout process.
  15. Click "Check Out".
  16. Enter your credit card information on the Payment Information page. 
  17. Click "Pay" (3% processing fee will be applied). 
  18. Please print a copy of your receipt for your records.

What should I bring to camp?

Make sure that your child has:
  • Litter-less lunch
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Clothing for all outdoor weather
  • Indoor shoes
  • Towel and bathing suit
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat and sunglasses

Extended care 

Extended Care available Monday-Friday

7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m and 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Peanut and nut-free environment

All day camps offered by the Township of West Lincoln are peanut and nut free.

Camp behaviour

At camp, we strive to provide a fun, safe and respectful environment for all of our campers. We believe that every child has an equal right to have an excellent camp experience. We always keep a close watch on any anti-social behaviour such as teasing or bullying.

Your child must:

  • be able to take instruction and follow direction from camp staff
  • not behave in a manner that negatively affects another camper's experience
  • understand that they may not physically or verbally hurt others
  • respect the feelings, safety and personal integrity of themselves and others
  • respect camp property and/or another camper's property (parents/guardians are responsible for the cost of any damages deliberately caused by their child)

Guidelines are for the protection and benefit of all; violations can result in immediate removal from camp. If your child is asked to leave camp, you will not receive a refund.

 

Concussion Policy

The Township of West Lincoln understands the seriousness of concussions and is committed to keeping participants safe by reducing the incidences of concussions, and ensuring the proper management of participants with suspected and diagnosed concussions. Click here to view the Township of West Lincoln's Concussion Prevention and Management Policy.    

Refund Policy

Refunds will be granted if notice is given in writing at least two weeks prior to the first day of your child's enrollment Email us. A 10% refund fee will be charged.
