The Township of West Lincoln is encouraging residents aged 55 and over to “Try Something New,” through an exciting new schedule of free accessible programming. This new programming is made possible thanks to $11,900 in funding awarded through the Seniors Community Grant.
The grant will also help to fund two free presentations targeted for seniors, led by Crime Stoppers Niagara in partnership with the Niagara Elder Abuse Prevention Network, held in the upstairs program room at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West St., Smithville.

The Seniors Community Grant Program is provided by Ontario’s Ministry for Seniors and Accessibility, and aims to address social isolation and help older adults stay healthy, safe, and active in their communities.
