Council and Committee Meeting Livestream

The Township of West Lincoln is pleased to offer livestreaming of its Council and Standing Committee meetings through the Township's YouTube Channel.

Due to the efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and to protect all individuals, the Council Chamber will not be open to the public to attend Council and Standing Committee meetings until further notice.

How the Livestream works:

  • Select the Council or Standing Committee meeting you wish to view by visiting the Council and Committee Meeting Calendar on the Township's website.
  • The scheduled Council or Standing Committee meeting selected will appear as the main video frame on the Township YouTube Channel. The bottom left hand corner of the video will advise when the meeting will be live. You do not need to reload or refresh this page for the livestream to begin.
  • The livestream option is available for anyone who wish to observe a Council or Standing Committee meeting. It is important to note that if you wish to speak at a Council or Standing Committee meeting, you must obtain a Zoom link by requesting one through the Clerks department.

Public Comments and Virtual Participation:

  • Livestream does not offer the option to speak during a live meeting, therefore it is important for those who wish to provide comments towards any matters that are on the agenda (i.e., during a Public Meeting Under the Planning Act, or during the Request to Address Items on the Agenda section), contact the Clerks Department for an individual Zoom link in order to participate, by no later than 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting.
  • Appointments/Delegations are still required to complete a Request to Speak at a Meeting form and will be sent a separate Zoom link in order to present.
