West Lincoln announces 2025 Community Recognition Award winners

The results are in! Winners of the Township of West Lincoln’s 2025 Community Recognition Awards have been selected and will be honoured at an awards ceremony on October 21. Congratulations to our 12 award winners.

• Sports/Recreation: Don Wood
• General Volunteerism: Chris Freure
• Lifetime Volunteerism: Ann Marie Chechalk, Chris Frere, Tony Mous, Loretta Shields, Brenda Walker

“On behalf of Council, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to this year’s winners,” says Mayor Cheryl Ganann. “Each of you has made a remarkable impact on West Lincoln through your dedication, generosity and community spirit. Thank you for inspiring us all and for helping to build a stronger, more vibrant community.”
