Man in red sweater sitting on arena seat

The Township of West Lincoln is proud to highlight the growing impact of its LegaSeat Sponsorship Program.

Recently, Ken Brunaccioni, alongside his family and business, sponsored a seat at the West Lincoln Community Centre as part of the LegaSeat Sponsorship program. When Ken saw the gleaming new name plaque on their arena seat for the first time, he felt an overwhelming sense of pride.

“I think it’s a great program,” he said. “It is a reminder that you are part of this great community and long after you may have moved on, that reminder is still here.”

Ken moved to the area in 1999 with his wife, Lynne, whose family roots in the community run deep. This year marks an exciting milestone: ten years of Ken, Lynne and their son Nick successfully running their well-loved food cart and food trailer, and three years at the helm of the concession stand at the Community Centre.

Ken has always spoken warmly about his connection to West Lincoln, saying, “I enjoy being part of this community and I love living in the area. The town and the people have always been very supportive of our business, the food we serve, and everything we try and do.”

The LegaSeat Sponsorship program is a unique opportunity for individuals, groups, and local businesses to have their name, or the name of a loved one, engraved permanently on a seat in the arena. Not only does this create a lasting tribute, but it also directly supports the ongoing operation and upkeep of the West Lincoln Community Centre, a facility at the heart of so many cherished memories.

Giving back has always been second nature to the Brunaccioni family. Their long-standing support of West Lincoln Community Care, especially the backpack school program and Christmas initiatives, speaks volumes. In 2025, for example, they handed out 700 free hotdogs at the West Lincoln Santa Claus Parade, a gesture that brought smiles to many faces.

When asked why giving back matters so much, Ken said: “It is so important when you live in a smaller community to be involved and to support your town and your neighbors when you can. It’s a great place to live and work.”
