Leisureplex closing for the season Nov 1, playground will remain open

Be advised that the Leisureplex sports fields and public washroom, located at 2543 South Grimsby Road 6, in Smithville, will be closing for the season at the end of the month. Gates will be closed on November 1, 2025.

Seasonal closure is necessary in order to prevent damage to sports fields caused by unauthorized vehicle access. Gates at the Leisureplex will reopen in May of 2026. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The playground area remains open and accessible year-round. A small parking area is available at the entrance to the Leisureplex driveway for continued public use.
