Niagara Region’s Find a Doctor tool helping all residents Connect to Care

West Lincoln, in collaboration with the Niagara Physicians’ Healthcare Alliance, Niagara Region, and the other 11 local municipalities are coming together to encourage residents to Connect to Care and Find a Doctor today on the updated Find a Doctor webpage that helps residents locate and register with over two dozen available family doctors in Niagara.

The webpage features:

•  A list of doctors and clinics in Niagara by municipality
• Contact details and locations for each clinic

West Lincoln Council recognizes and celebrates the hard work and dedication of the more than 600 physicians working in Niagara. Supporting this initiative reflects the Township’s ongoing commitment to advocating for services that meet the needs of families and individuals at all stages of life. Furthermore, the Township continues to actively support Hamilton Health Science’s strategy to recruit physicians, included within their plans for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

For those who require transportation to access care, the NRT Microtransit ridesharing service provides accessible and affordable travel from West Lincoln to other areas across the region. Specialized transit is also available for eligible residents who need door-to-door support. These services help ensure that all residents, regardless of their location or mobility, can connect with the care they need.

Niagara Region leads physician recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with local partners. This campaign was developed by Niagara Economic Development, with support from key stakeholders such as the Niagara Practitioners’ Healthcare Alliance (NPHA), which continues to advance access to primary care across the region.
