About the application for consent and easement

Property Address: 3750 Concession 1 Road

A consent application has been applied for to permit a Surplus Farm Dwelling Severance for the lands located at 3750 Concession 1 Road. The land being severed with the 1.5 storey dwelling is proposed to be 0.40 hectares (1 Acre) shown as Part 1 on the survey sketch and Part 2, being the remnant farmland will be approximately 20.2 hectares (49.92 acres) following the severance.

This application also is to recognize an easement where Part 3 will be an easement over Part 2 for access to the well for domestic water usage for the lands to be severed as shown on Part 1 of the survey sketch.

If approved, a condition will be required that the severed holding be zoned to Rural Residential (RuR) and the remnant farmland be zoned to Agricultural Purposes Only (APO), restricting any future residential use or merging the lands onto an abutting property. How to provide comments

Any person may attend the meeting and/or provide written or verbal comments on the above noted severance. We ask that any written comments be provided by Tuesday, August 19, 2025, to have them included in the Staff report for the application. Please submit your comments electronically to Stephanie Pouliot, spouliot@westlincoln.ca, with the file number for the application or via the Township’s dropbox in the back parking lot.

If you submit comments after this date, they may not be included in the Staff report. The comments will instead be read into the public record during the meeting. Please ensure all comments have been submitted prior to Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 4 p.m. While
residents are encouraged to make written submissions to the Committee, members of the public will also be able to provide verbal comments at Committee of Adjustment meeting.

Any written comments received with regard to this application will constitute part of the public record for this particular file, in accordance with the Planning Act.

Important information about making a submission

If the applicant, the Minister or a specified person or public body that has an interest in the matter that files an appeal of a decision of the Committee of Adjustment in respect of the proposed severance does not make written submissions to the Committee of Adjustment before it gives or refuses the severance application, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
