The West Lincoln Road Safety Action Plan Pilot Project will be implemented at selected locations in May and June 2026 to support safer and more comfortable travel for all road users. The pilot program will introduce temporary roadway safety measures and operational changes designed to evaluate opportunities for reducing speeding, improving driver awareness, and enhancing safety conditions for pedestrians, cyclists, transit on-demand users, and motorists within the community.

During the pilot period, residents may notice temporary traffic control devices, pavement markings, signage, or modified roadway configurations at selected study locations. The Township will monitor traffic operations, driver behaviour, and community feedback to assess the effectiveness of the pilot measures and help inform future transportation safety improvements across West Lincoln. Residents are encouraged to travel with caution through pilot areas and share feedback as part of the ongoing Road Safety Action Plan initiative.
