West Lincoln is starting 2026 on a high note! Residents are invited to join the Mayor and members of Council for the third annual New Year’s Levee, a growing community tradition that brings neighbours together to set a positive tone for the year ahead.

This year’s Levee is shaping up to be a fun, family-friendly afternoon. Enjoy free public skating, warm up with complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and pastries and connect with friends old and new.

Members of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee will also be on hand to welcome guests and help serve treats.

“There’s no better way to start a new year than by spending time with the people who make West Lincoln such a vibrant and caring community,” says Mayor Cheryl Ganann. “I hope everyone will join us for an afternoon of connection, celebration and shared enthusiasm as we look forward to everything 2026 will bring.”

Help us celebrate a fresh new year filled with community spirit. Drop in on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the West Lincoln Community Centre, 177 West Street, Smithville.
