West Lincoln enhances accountability with strategic plan dashboard

The Township of West Lincoln has launched a new online dashboard that tracks progress on its 2023-2026 Corporate Strategic Plan, offering residents a transparent and engaging way to see how the Township is advancing its goals.

“Our strategic plan represents a shared vision built on collaboration, responsibility and community pride,” says Mayor Cheryl Ganann. “The new dashboard gives residents a clear window into the progress we’re making and the steps we’re taking to deliver that vision. Transparency builds trust and this tool ensures our community can see how we’re moving forward together”

Adopted in July of 2023, the Strategic Plan provides a clear roadmap for West Lincoln’s future, built around four central themes:

Build a safe, connected, caring and active community

Champion strategic and responsible growth

Enrich our strong agricultural legacy

Advance organizational capacity and effectiveness

Through the strategic plan dashboard, residents can explore each theme, view updates on current action items and track progress as projects move forward. The tool provides an at-a-glance look at how the Township is delivering on its commitments and advancing community priorities.

“The dashboard represents an important step in advancing evidence-based decision making and performance measurement within the organization,” says CAO Truper McBride. “By tracking and publicly reporting on our strategic initiatives, we are strengthening accountability, improving operational transparency and ensuring that the Township’s resources continue to be directed toward outcomes that deliver the greatest benefit to our community.”
