West Lincoln Fire and Emergency Services is teaming up with Smithville Home Hardware for a Fire Safety Barbecue, to educate the public about fire safety while raising funds for a good cause.

The Fire Safety Barbecue will be held rain or shine in the parking lot of Smithville Home Hardware, at 2646 Industrial Park Road, on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs and cold drinks will be available by donation, with all proceeds going to West Lincoln Community Care.

Community members are invited to bring the whole family to meet some of the Township’s brave Volunteer Firefighters, tour a fire truck, engage in fun kids’ activities and enjoy a nice meal with neighbours.
