West Lincoln invites residents to leave a lasting LegaSeat in arena

The Township of West Lincoln is offering residents the chance to leave a lasting legacy in a beloved community space through the LegaSeat sponsorship program.

The arena inside the West Lincoln Community Centre has been the backdrop for countless memories: first goals, championship wins, family skates and community celebrations. Families and individuals can make their connection to this place permanent by purchasing a seat.

“Our arena is alive with activity year-round. From early morning practices to packed community events, this is where families gather, teams grow and memories are made,” says Mayor Cheryl Ganann. “The LegaSeat program is your chance to not only support this vibrant community hub but also leave a lasting legacy in West Lincoln.”

LegaSeat sponsorship costs $200 per seat and includes a custom name plaque that will be permanently affixed on the seat, an official certificate to take home and an optional photo and digital badge to share on social media.

“A LegaSeat sponsorship is about more than placing a name on a chair – it’s a way to leave your mark or create a tribute that will be seen and appreciated for years to come,” says Cynthia Summers, Director of Community and Protective Services. “Every seat sponsored helps strengthen the arena we all rely on and cherish.”
