Labour Day Weekend 2024 Holiday Hours

The Township of West Lincoln wishes the community a safe and happy Labour Day weekend.

Please note that the Township Administration Building, Public Works Building, West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 2, for the statutory Labour Day holiday.

Residents are reminded that fireworks are only permitted in West Lincoln on Victoria Day, Canada Day and the 2 days before and after these holidays. Labour Day/weekend fireworks are not permitted...

Fall fitness registration begins September 4

There are many great ways for West Lincoln individuals and families to stay active over the fall season. The Township is bringing back crowd favourites and introducing brand new programs for its fall fitness lineup.

Registration opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, and will be available in person at the West Lincoln Community Centre during regular business hours. Online registration is also available through Activenet.

New free programs help West Lincoln older adults relish in ‘The Best Years’

The Township of West Lincoln is encouraging residents aged 55 and over to relish in what are often known as “the best years” of life through a new series of free programming. This new programming is made possible thanks to $20,970 in funding awarded through the Seniors Community Grant.

All programs are being held at or leave from the West Lincoln Community Centre at 177 West Street, in Smithville.
