A Township of West Lincoln delegation engaged with members of Provincial Cabinet at this year’s AMO Conference, hosted by the City of Ottawa from August 18 to 21, to champion strategic priorities and discuss critical issues impacting the community.

Nomination period now open for West Lincoln Ward 3 By-election

At its August 12 Council (including all Committees) meeting, Township Council passed the by-law to conduct a by-election. Nominations for West Lincoln’s Ward 3 by-election are now open and will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Friday, September 20.

West Lincoln Now Offering Marriage Licences

West Lincoln couples looking to join in matrimony no longer need to go out-of-town to make it legal. The Township of West Lincoln is now offering marriage licences.

Marriage licences are issued by the Township Clerk’s department, by appointment, during regular operating hours at Township Administration, 318 Canborough Street, Smithville. The marriage licence fee is $130, payable at the appointment.
