West Lincoln’s Growth and Sustainability Committee approved amendments to the Township’s Zoning and Animal Care and Control By-laws at last night’s meeting, which will permit and regulate backyard chickens in residential zones of hamlet settlement areas and in the agricultural area. The Township of West Lincoln is holding day camp for children ages 4 to 12 at the West Lincoln Community Centre from March 10 to 14. Registration for March Break Camp will open at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.
Campers will be led through fun activities designed to keep them moving and engaged, including but not limited to games, crafts, sports and ice skating. Daily themes include makers and inventors, backwards day, pajama day, escape the day and beach day.

Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff joined Mayor Cheryl Ganann at Township administration this afternoon, to announce that West Lincoln will be receiving $3,969,375 in Provincial funding through the second intake of the Housing Enabling Water Systems Fund.
