Fall drop-in, skating programs start in September

Lace up your sneakers and skates and drop-in at the West Lincoln Community Centre this fall, where the Township is offering a variety of unstructured activities in the gymnasium and arena.

The fall schedule of drop-in programs starts September 3 and includes the following:

• Youth Open Gym

• Family Open Gym

• Pickleball (Adult)

• Beginner Pickleball (Adult)

• Advanced Pickleball (Adult)

• Volleyball (Adult)

• Dodgeball (Adult)

• Older Adult Social (55+)

• Ukulele Jam Session (55+)

Labour Day Weekend 2024 Holiday Hours

The Township of West Lincoln wishes the community a safe and happy Labour Day weekend.

Please note that the Township Administration Building, Public Works Building, West Lincoln Community Centre and West Lincoln Public Library will be closed on Monday, September 2, for the statutory Labour Day holiday.

Residents are reminded that fireworks are only permitted in West Lincoln on Victoria Day, Canada Day and the 2 days before and after these holidays. Labour Day/weekend fireworks are not permitted...

New free programs help West Lincoln older adults relish in ‘The Best Years’

The Township of West Lincoln is encouraging residents aged 55 and over to relish in what are often known as “the best years” of life through a new series of free programming. This new programming is made possible thanks to $20,970 in funding awarded through the Seniors Community Grant.

All programs are being held at or leave from the West Lincoln Community Centre at 177 West Street, in Smithville.
