Strong mayor powers proposed for West Lincoln

The Ontario Government is proposing to expand strong mayor powers to the heads of Council in 169 additional municipalities, including West Lincoln. This new framework, announced April 9, would come into effect May 1, 2025.

Celebrate Earth Day by running a community clean up in West Lincoln

In honour of Earth Day, the Township is inviting the public to help keep West Lincoln green by running community clean ups. Community clean ups can be organized for the days leading up to, on, or after April 22.

Interested parties will be provided with a designated clean-up location, ample supplies, including garbage bags, gloves and safety tips, and arrangements will be made for Staff to pick up the collected garbage after the clean-up is completed. Visit the Earth Day page to sign up.
