The Township of West Lincoln is pleased to announce that, after a comprehensive recruitment process, Cynthia Summers has accepted the position of Director of Community and Protective Services.
As Director of Community and Protective Services, Summers will oversee the delivery of programs, events, parks and facilities. She will also support business processes, long-range planning and analysis with the Township’s Fire Services and liaise with Niagara Regional Police Services.

At its February 24 meeting, Township Council passed West Lincoln’s 2025 Budget, which supports just over $10 million in capital and special projects, to be completed this year, and approximately $23.6 million in operating expenditures funded by property taxes, user fees, grants and reserve transfers.

The Township of West Lincoln is sponsoring free skating sessions over March Break. West Lincoln residents are encouraged to bring their family, friends and neighbours for some fun on the ice at the West Lincoln Community Centre, at 177 West Street, in Smithville.
