June 7, 2024: Hamilton Health Sciences’ executive leadership team has advised that they will not be giving further consideration to renaming West Lincoln Memorial Hospital to West Niagara Memorial Hospital.

The Township of West Lincoln has launched a survey, asking community members to have their say about features they would like included in the new Leisureplex Playground.

Replacing the playground, located within the Leisureplex Township Park at 2543 South Grimsby Road 6, in Smithville, was approved as a capital project in 2024 with a total budget of $160,000.
