West Lincoln Council approves 2025 budget

At its February 24 meeting, Township Council passed West Lincoln’s 2025 Budget, which supports just over $10 million in capital and special projects, to be completed this year, and approximately $23.6 million in operating expenditures funded by property taxes, user fees, grants and reserve transfers.

West Lincoln sponsors free March Break skating

The Township of West Lincoln is sponsoring free skating sessions over March Break. West Lincoln residents are encouraged to bring their family, friends and neighbours for some fun on the ice at the West Lincoln Community Centre, at 177 West Street, in Smithville.

• Monday, March 10: 3-4 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 11: 3-4 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 12: 3-4 p.m.
• Thursday, March 13: 3-4 p.m.
• Friday, March 14: 3-4 p.m.

Specialty courses available in West Lincoln over March Break

The Township is facilitating specialty courses at the West Lincoln Community Centre over March Break, to empower residents of all ages with new skills and confidence. Registration for Babysitting Training, Home Alone Safety and First Aid & CPR Level C opens at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.
